Kate emigrated from South Africa when she was partway through her degree in Business Science at the University of Cape Town, majoring in Accountancy and Finance. After settling into her new life in the UK, Kate picked up where she went on to qualify as a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Her career in Accountancy started at a family-run franchised motor dealership where she joined as Assistant Accountant and went on to become the Group Management Accountant.

Kate then moved into the Facilities Management sector where she was an integral part of the fast-paced Finance Department for 9 years. It was at this point that Kate decided she needed a change and went on to join DS Burge & Co in September 2020.

Kate is a professionally qualified CIMA member.
